The Barefoot Running Book

by Jason Robillard

Book Hi!  My name is Jason Robillard.  I originally wrote this book to help my friends learn some of the tricks and techniques I picked up after using barefoot running as a training tool to run 100 mile ultramarathons. Over time, I added more content, including some contributions from my barefoot running colleagues.

I really believe my methods can offer anybody some assistance with learning to run unshod, or keep running in moderate shoes such as Vibram's Five Fingers.  You can check out a sample of the book here. The first 52 pages are available in pdf form completely free!

I use a variety of analysis, venture, and my personal encounters to bring the newest options for setting up a safe and sound, pleasurable changeover to barefoot as well as smart boot working.

The new edition, published by Plume, will be available on August 28th, 2012. The book can be pre-ordered here:
